First Sunday in Lent

It’s the First Sunday in Lent, the Season in the Church Year of lengthening our roots in God’s love, and the roots of God’s love in us; of a way being prepared in the wilderness for the Easter life of our Lord.

We’re most blessed to share Holy Communion together, physically or spiritually, feeding by faith with thanksgiving on the One who laid down his life for us, so that we may have his life within us always.

Then, our Liturgy ends, and the service begins, as we go forth to spread the light wherever there is darkness, through our words and our deeds.
