At St. Paul’s, we are not an isolated island, cut off from our fellow-travellers on this planet. Rather we have a myriad of connections we both remember and treasure. We are part of a living tradition of faith that has been practiced for at least 3 millennia, set forth in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. We are part of the over 2 billion people worldwide today who are saying “Yes” to the invitation of Jesus Christ to know him as our Teacher, Friend, and Lord. We are part of the Diocese of Calgary, which is part of the Anglican Church of Canada, the worldwide Anglican Communion, and the World Council of Churches. We celebrate our being part of the community of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and the whole family of creatures, human and non human, who populate our planet. We connect gladly with all people of good will locally, nationally, and internationally to spread the light of love. Through our support of the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) and other agencies, we are helping to improve the health, food security and livelihoods of vulnerable people around the world.
