Epiphany of the Lord
It's the Feast of the Epiphany of the Lord, the beginning of the Epiphany Season and the first service of 2024. Throughout the Service, in word, song, and action, we’re celebrating the revealing or making manifest (Epiphany) of the glory of our Lord Jesus, and the spreading of his light as it shines upon and through us.
We’re most blessed to share Holy Communion together, physically or spiritually, feeding by faith with thanksgiving on the One who laid down his life for us, so that we may have his life within us always.
Then, our Liturgy ends, and the service begins, as we go forth to spread the light wherever there is darkness, through our words and our deeds.
