All Saints Sunday

This week, we celebrate All Saints’ Sunday. As Fergus mentions in his Living Waters article this month – ‘We are all saints – and because we’re saints, we have a “glorious inheritance.” All Saints’ Sunday is a time to reflect on this and remember what we are called to be. Fergus is celebrating and preaching this week.

We’re also watching our last video on Stewardship, entitled, “Generous People.” This Sunday is the time to hand in your pledge card. These are available on our website here or from the Sides People at the service.

As the Service is a Holy Eucharist, we’re most blessed to share Holy Communion together, physically or spiritually, feeding by faith with thanksgiving on the One who laid down his life for us, so that we may have his life within us always.

When our Liturgy ends, the service begins, with a “Sending” forth into the world to share, in word and in deed, the love of God with joy, in the power of the Holy Spirit, in word and in deed.
