We’re continuing our Epiphany Season's reflecting on Jesus’ revealed glory as the Light of the world, this week looking at his turning water into wine at a Wedding in Cana of Galilee, about which John writes: “Jesus did this, the first of his signs, in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.” We’re blessed to have Norman assisting and preaching; our Virtual Choir leading us in 4 congregational Hymns, and singing for us an Offertory Anthem.; Angela and Murray are on video sharing our first 2 Readings; and Dinah is on audio, leading us in the Prayers of the People. These Prayers begin with a Liturgy especially for the Christmas and Epiphany Seasons, a Prayer for our Jan. 30 Annual Meeting of Parishioners; and, facing the impact in our Parish and throughout the world of the omicron variant, 3 Prayers in Response to COVID-19. We then have the awesome privilege of receiving our Lord’s light within, feeding on him in our hearts by faith with thanksgiving, as we share Communion physically or spiritually together. Last, our Liturgy ends, and the service begins, as we go forth to spread the light wherever there’s darkness, through what we say and do.
