Today we’re exploring what it means to be the saints at St. Paul’s, as we celebrate the great Feast of All Saints together! We’re blessed to have Bob preaching and assisting at the Service. Bob and Fergus are beginning the Service by leading the Congregation in a special All Saints’ Day Litany. (Thanks, Norman, for this!) Keith and Bob in-person, and Gloria on video, are sharing our passages from Holy Scripture, which set forth the promise of eternal intimacy with God, who in tender compassion will wipe away every tear from our faces. Our Virtual Choir is leading us in 4 Hymns, and the majestic organ at All Saints’ Oystermouth, Swansea, Wales, is accompanying us in our Closing Hymn, the great All Saints’ Hymn “For All the Saints!” Our safety protocol allows for us to sing softly in our in-person worship, and not just hum. Stacy is in-person to lead us in the Prayers of the People, which include an All Saints’ Litany, time to remember our departed loved ones and friends, and a Prayer for the COP26 International Climate Conference taking place in Glasgow. We’re experiencing the riches of both Word and Sacrament, as we’re sharing Communion together, physically (in the Sanctuary, or with the Reserved Sacrament picked up from the Office Monday to Friday between 9 and noon, or by appointment) or spiritually!
