This Sunday, we’re exploring the meaning of the famous statement in the above image. To help us do this, we’re blessed to have Deacon Bob with us to preach the Sermon. We’re blessed to have our Virtual Choir lead us in 6 hymns, and our in-person Paul accompany Fergus in another. And we’re blessed to have John L. on tape, giving the First Reading, and Dinah in-person to share the Prayers of the People. These Prayers include a special Labour Day Litany honouring the dignity of all work in all its kinds, with which we bless God’s world by using for our society and the world the gifts and skills God has bestowed upon us. We’re also beginning the first of a new series of Prayers for Social Justice, sharing a Prayer for the Elimination of Racism, penned by the Sisters of Mercy. And we’re sharing a Prayer in Response to COVID-19 penned by the Anglican Fellowship of Prayer that includes lifting up the return to schools.
