This Sunday, our Passages from Holy Scripture and Homily explore how Jesus’ Presence and power to transform enable us to know reconciliation and peace between each other, and break the cycle of pain that consumes our world. Our music is on both keyboard and guitar, with the blessing of our Choir recorded to help lead us in our Opening Hymn. We’re blessed also to have Murray to give the First Reading. As it’s a Morning Prayer Service, we have the opportunity to spend extra time offering our petitions and thanksgivings together. We’re sharing prayers from Book of Common Prayer and Book of Alternative Services, a Prayer in Response to COVID-19 from the National Council of Churches in Australia, a Prayer for the Elimination of Racism by the Sisters of Mercy, and a Prayer for the Safe Return to Schools by the Moderator of the United Church of Canada.
