This Sunday, the Day of Pentecost, is the third of the "big 3" Feasts of the Church Year (the other 2 being Christmas and Easter), and it is often called the Birthday of the Church! Today’s Liturgy is expressed by the prayer, “Come, Holy Spirit, come!” The Holy Spirit will be the focus of our passages from Holy Scripture, the Hymns led by our Choir, the videos we’ll watch from the “Thy Kingdom Come” global prayer initiative as well as the Alpha Film Series, our Homily on the “Three ‘P’s’ of Pentecost,” and the Holy Spirit Litany in the Prayers of the People. In the Service, we have the opportunity to receive Our Lord in our hearts as we share Spiritual Communion together. The Order of Service is available in its usual place under the Sermon Notes.
